The calligraphy on this print has been hand painted using thick layer of handmade Mica pigment watercolour paint made by Finetec. The print is mounted and framed in classic straight line white frame with plastic front protection.

One framed print will be posted wrapped with lots of care and attention for maximum protection.  Please allow  2-3 working days for delivery.

Description

Print from the original hand painting reads ‘Bismillah ArRahman ArRaheem’ meaing “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful”, designed and hand painted by Shafina Ali. The design was meticulously hand painted on canvas from scratch, using acrylic paint with extreme care.

Art Medium: -24carat superior quality gold leaf - Fabriano Artisco 100% cotton, 300gsm Hot Press watercolour paper - Daniel Smith Finest Watercolours Includes Certificate of authentication   Paper size: 38cm x 38cm Frame: Gold flat frame,  Meranti wood with Gold Leaf finish Frame size: 48cm x 48cm Frame has minor imperfection due to gallery handling.   Ayatul Kursi in Maghrebi Kufic – Antique Style Inspired by the 10th century illuminated Quran leaf it is meticulously hand painted using traditional techniques and methods.  The paper is first tea stained with different shades of tea to make it look old and ancient. Designs and calligraphy are then carefully hand painted with Daniel Smith Finest Watercolours using a handmade squirrel hair brush. Each geometry and arabesque designs are composed from scratch using compass and ruler. Header: The design I used for this sticker is from the Surah Fatihah commission painting I created for an Indonesian client. It is inspired by Persian illumination known as the Taj (Crown) made out of Eslimi (Aradesque) and Khataei patterns. Footer: Frame design is call the Sar Lowh (Epigraph) made out of Eslimi (Aradesque) and Khataei pattern. I removed the calligraphy using a photo editing software and then I created the stickers using Design Space and Cricut Explorer Air 2.   Set Includes TWO Laminated Sticker for each design:
  • 2x Header – Taj (Crown) pattern
  • 2x Footer – Sar Lowh (Epigraph) pattern
